Airport Information

(Savannah, Georgia - GA, USA)

Nestled in the eastern corner of Georgia, Savannah / Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) is the largest regional airport in coastal Georgia and second only to Atlanta's airport on a statewide scale. Savannah's Terminal Expansion Plan has also just been completed and comprises five new gateways at a cost around $14 million, much of which was paid for by the state Airport Improvement Program.

Interstate 95 is very close to the airport grounds, making getting here and away by car very straightforward, leading south to Jacksonville and beyond. For those planning to travel into downtown Savannah itself, along with its Victorian District, Southside area and communities around West Chatham County, there is a public bus service, together with on-demand shuttle buses. Savannah Airport also features numerous hotel courtesy shuttle buses for those with reservations, and sizable fleets of taxis and limousines.
